Biography
Gayathri is a part of the Admissions Outreach team at the University. For her, curiosity has always been a starting point. Her interest in education took root in 2022 through KRUU, a project-based learning (PBL) platform, where she discovered the joy of working with students and creating spaces for them to learn by questioning, experimenting, and doing. This experience grew into a broader interest in student engagement and meaningful learning.
She holds an MSc in Biological Sciences with a specialisation in Neuroscience from Ashoka University and a BSc in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Krea University. Her research experience spans neuroscience and animal behaviour, including work with zebrafish and Drosophila. She has since worked across education, mentoring, higher education, admissions, and outreach.
Outside her professional life, she enjoys looking into political philosophy and science fiction, unconventional ideas and conspiracies — and is, at heart, a forever dog person.
