Biography
Divya is a part of the Communications function since 2022 and has contributed to the University and Foundation websites in terms of editorial support and updation. She is now part of the editorial team of the Function.
Before joining the Foundation, Divya worked as an Assistant Professor in some colleges in Mumbai — SVKM’S Usha Pravin Gandhi College, VPM’s R Z Shah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, and Vikas College of Arts, Science and Commerce, facilitating classroom interactions and mentorship to undergraduate students of Mass Media (Advertising and Journalism).
She worked as a Sub-Editor at the Free Press Journal from 2015 – 2017. She has also done creative writing pieces, book reviews, interviews during her time there. She was also part of the Startoholics website team that worked on interviewing and publishing stories of startup founders/ entrepreneurs between 2013 – 2014.
She completed her MA in Sociology and MA in Communication and Journalism from University of Mumbai, and Bachelor of Mass Media from L S Raheja College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai.
