Chanchal comes from the domain of Library and Information Science, with over five years of experience in academic libraries. He is currently part of the Knowledge Resource Centre team at the University.

He was previously associated with Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian School of Business (Mohali, Punjab) and NSHM Knowledge Campus (Durgapur, West Bengal).

He holds a five-year integrated master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Calcutta (Kolkata, West Bengal) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Library and Information Science at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), a Deemed-to-be University in Odisha.

In addition to his academic credentials, he also holds the Certificate on Library Automation and Digitization (Credit Course) endorsed by Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) through SWAYAM & workshop certificate on Business Communication from Indian School of Business. He has also deepened his professional toolkit through learning initiatives across on LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, and the Bloomberg Standalone Database.

He represented the Indian School of Business (Learning Resource Centre, Mohali) during a knowledge-exchange visit to Ashoka University and O.P. Jindal Global University, aimed at gathering actionable insights for institutional innovation.

He enjoys cricket, badminton, and digital games.
