Bharti is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience in financial management, operations, and compliance within the development sector. She currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Azim Premji Foundation, where she oversees finance and compliance functions, ensuring transparency and efficiency across systems and processes.

 Before assuming the CFO role, Bharti held leadership positions within the Foundation, including Head of Programme Finance and Enabler Function in Philanthropy. Her earlier experience includes senior finance roles at Child Fund India and Population Services International.

 A qualified Cost Accountant (ICWAI) and PGDBM (Finance) from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Bharti brings deep expertise in building financial systems. Her extensive experience within the Foundation and her strong understanding of the development sector help shape systems and strategies that are practical, accountable, and focused on long-term impact.
