Avantika Srivastava is a faculty member at the School of Continuing Education ‑University Resource Centre (SCE-URC), Azim Premji University. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a specialisation in Family and Child Welfare from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. With over 18 years of professional experience, she has worked with organisations including ActionAid India, Association for Advocacy and Legal Initiatives (AALI), Sahbhagi Shikshan Kendra (SSK), PRIA, Samaj Pragati Sahyog (SPS), and as an independent consultant. 

Her work spans professional education, curriculum development, training, research, programme evaluation, and institutional capacity building. She has designed and facilitated capacity-building programmes for civil society organisations, government institutions, and community leaders on women’s human rights, gender justice, rights-based approaches, gender-based violence, and participatory learning. Her work seeks to bridge theory and practice to strengthen institutions and promote inclusive, rights-based development.
