Ashwini Salunke holds an MA in Education from Azim Premji University and a BTech in Metallurgy and Materials Science from CoEP Technological University. At Digantar, she taught Social Sciences to children in grades 6 – 10 and contributed to academic coordination, curriculum development, assessment, and teacher professional development. She developed Self-Guided Learning Cards for Social Sciences for children in grades 6 – 8 as part of work on Self-Directed Learning Programme.

Previously, she worked as a Research and Design Lead at Mantra Social Services, where she worked on education research, policy analysis, teacher professional development, and the development of educational resources. She also worked as a Research Associate with the Indian Education Policy Archive, contributing to the systematic review and documentation of education policy.

Her academic interests include Social Science education, pedagogy, assessment, and children’s learning.
