Campus Bengaluru

With utmost happiness, we congratulate and celebrate the performances of our University teams across various sports events this semester:

Our ultimate frisbee team
recently participated in the National College Ultimate Championship tournament held in Goa and has emerged as champions of the tournament. The Ultimate Frisbee team has been constantly working hard as a unit for over the years and has a strong chemistry on the field, all of which have contributed heavily to this achievement.

Our women’s football team recently participated in the Football Tournament hosted at St.Joseph’s College, Bengaluru and emerged as the runners-up of the tournament. The team, one of the most disciplined units on campus, has been putting endless efforts into these workshops and training sessions.

Our men and non-male basketball teams participated in two tournaments, at St. Joseph’s College, Bengaluru, and Christ University, Bengaluru. The teams put up a spirited performance that was received with a lot of appreciation from their co-participating teams from the same tournament.

Our Cricket team participated in a tournament held at Christ University, Bengaluru, where they won one match and narrowly lost the second. The team put up a fighting spirit throughout the tournament and was well-appreciated for their approach to strategies and execution of their game plan.

Congratulations to all these teams! Their achievements are undoubtedly an inspiration for all of us. Not just their performances but their overall work ethic and attitude both on and off the field serve as a good reminder of the culture we are all trying to create on campus.

The club coordinators and coaches have worked tirelessly to create a strong and sound sporting environment on campus. We are very proud of the attempts our clubs make to keep the balance between inclusive play and competing. It is a hard balance to maintain but we are dedicated to keeping our sports spaces safe and inclusive for everyone.
