Need-based Scholarships
We are committed to providing high-quality education with need-based financial aid for economically disadvantaged students
At Azim Premji University, we are committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not stand in the way of a student’s education. We offer need-based scholarships each year to a limited number of students. This support can cover tuition and accommodation expenses, and in exceptional cases, food expenses as well.
Scholarships are awarded after a thorough review of all submitted documents, in accordance with the University’s Financial Aid Policy. As the number of applicants often exceeds the available aid, we may not be able to support all eligible candidates.
All scholarship decisions are made at the sole discretion of the University. If any documentation is found to be incorrect or falsified, the University reserves the right to withdraw the offer of admission.
Students with an annual family income of:
- Less than INR 8 lakh (for PG programmes), or
- Less than INR 10 lakh (for UG programmes),
are eligible to apply for different levels of scholarships.
If you meet this criterion, please indicate your interest in the application form.
Note: Requesting a scholarship does not guarantee financial support. Scholarships are awarded solely at the discretion of the University.
We encourage you to appear for the first round of admission tests, as the scholarship process involves multiple steps, including the submission and verification of financial documents. Starting early ensures timely review and completion of all formalities.
