Placements Executive — Training & Operations
We invite applications for the role of Placements Executive — Training & Operations.
As an Executive for Training & Operations in Placements, you will support the University’s placement initiatives by designing and coordinating structured pre-placement training programmes and skill development activities. The role involves close collaboration with academic departments, effective management of training logistics, data tracking and analysis, and ensuring alignment between student preparedness and placement requirements. In addition, you will be actively involved in coordination of the campus placement process.
Responsibilities:
- Design and support the implementation of structured pre-placement training sessions.
- Coordinate planning and execution of pre-placement training activities across academic programmes.
- Manage end-to-end training logistics, including scheduling, communication, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Develop and manage digital tools (e.g., Google Forms) for feedback, assessments, and data collection.
- Analyse training and participation data to generate actionable insights for improving student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation, training activities, and placement-related data.
- Support initiatives related to skill development, employability enhancement, and career readiness.
- Liaise with faculty and programme teams to align training interventions with student competencies.
- Prepare periodic reports on training effectiveness, participation trends, and challenges.
- Support compliance with University placement policies, processes, and timelines.
- Assist in the on-campus placement activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in working in higher education, skill development, social development training, youth engagement or with community stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent coordination and organisational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (especially Google Forms and data analysis tools); familiarity with digital tracking systems is desirable.
- Ability to analyse data and use insights to improve programme effectiveness.
- Student-centric approach with the ability to engage and motivate youth.
- Experience in designing and delivering employability or career readiness training programmes.
- Knowledge or certification in Skill Development / Employability Training.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment.
