From Policy to Practice: Accessing Quality Educational Resources

Azim Premji University, in collaboration with Don Bosco College of Education, Yadgir, is organising a one-day workshop on Anuvada Sampada—a free, open-access repository of academic resources translated from English into Indian languages. The event will be held in Yadgir on August 19 and aims to promote the use of quality academic materials in regional languages.
Prof. Harish Ramaswamy, former Vice Chancellor of Adikavi Sri Maharshi Valmiki University, will deliver the keynote. The event will be inaugurated by Sri Channabasappa Mudhol, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Yadgir, and presided over by Rev. Fr. Saji George, Don Bosco Group of Institutions.
The workshop will introduce around 150 student teachers and educators to the Anuvada Sampada platform, with sessions across disciplines like science, math, humanities, and social sciences.
This initiative aims to expand access to academic content in Kannada and Hindi, supporting deeper learning and inclusive education.
