Please join us for a conversation on the literary contributions of celebrated Kannada poet Kuvempu, a Jnanpith awardee, and his son and writer Poornachandra Tejasvi on Friday, March 28, 2025. Sri Keshava Malagi, Writer, Bengaluru, will speak on ​‘Boundless Kuvempu’ and Dr H. S. Sathyanarayana, Critic, Chikkamagaluru, will speak about ​‘Tejasvi: A Unique Syncretic Talent’.

Snippets of Dr. U. R. Ananthamurthy’s video lectures on the contributions of Kuvempu and Poornachandra Tejasvi will be played, along with rendition of a poem composed by Kuvempu. Smt. Sushmita. K. P., Tejaswi’s daughter, will be present during the event.

The event is part of ​‘Samskruti Sambhrama’ programme series, conceived to celebrate the rich cultural and literary traditions of Karnataka.
