About the event
A conversation on celebrated novelist Dr S L Bhyrappa’s literary contributions is organised on Wednesday, 10 Dec 2025. Prof. Ajakkala Girish Bhat, Principal, Govt. First Grade College, Siddakatte, Bantwal Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District will talk about An Analysis of Culture in Bhyrappa’s Novels, and Dr K. Satyanarayana, author, Bengaluru, will share his perspective on Kannada Novel Tradition and Bhyrappa.
The event will begin with a Hindustani Classical Musical Concert with artistes Smt. Shivani Mirajkar Jain (Vocal), Sri Tejas Katoti (Harmonium) and Sri Keshav Joshi (Tabla).
The event is part of Samskruti Sambhrama programme series, conceived to celebrate the rich cultural and literary traditions of Karnataka.
