Krishna to Kaveri: Celebrating the Confluences of Karnataka

Azim Premji University, in collaboration with the Bangalore International Centre (BIC), presents the second edition of Krishna to Kaveri: Celebrating the Confluences of Karnataka — a two-day annual cultural festival celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava and the vibrant cultural life nurtured by the rivers Krishna and Kaveri.
Inaugurated by acclaimed filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, the festival opens with Pooja Kunitha and Somana Kunitha folk performances and the Naada Geethe by students of the Suraaghavi Foundation.
Over two days, audiences can experience a rich mix of music, dance, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive sessions — from classical traditions to contemporary reinterpretations. Highlights include performances by Pt Vinayak Torvi, Chandana Bala Kalyan, Vasu Dixit, Supriya Raghunandan, and many others.
Other attractions include storytelling and art workshops for children, Kannada learning sessions, exhibitions, folk games, and cultural explorations across art, cinema, music, and heritage.
Join us to celebrate Karnataka’s creative and cultural spirit — a journey rooted in the wisdom of its rivers and alive in the imagination of its people.
