Politics and Society Between Elections
Politics and Society Between Elections explores the patterns in contemporary social and political public opinion in India’s States by examining citizens’ trust in political institutions, ties across social groups, ease of public service access, citizen-state interfaces and governance, gender roles and relationships, nationalism and political identity, freedom of expression, and populism. This project is a research collaboration between Azim Premji University and Lokniti (Programme for Comparative Democracy, CSDS, Delhi) undertaken in 2017 – 2019.
