This course focuses on the sustainable management of solid waste, addressing challenges and innovative social and technological solutions for waste reduction, recycling, and disposal in India.
Students will explore waste management systems, policy interventions, and emerging technologies. Through a hands-on project with a partnering organisation, guided by a faculty mentor, students
will gain practical experience in designing and implementing strategies for effective solid waste management.
