Puppetry and Visual Theatre

Introducing students to puppetry and visual theatre, emphasising hands-on engagement

Students will learn through doing, using puppetry not just for entertainment but as a tool for engaging with the invisible, unspoken, and impermissible through artistic imagination. The course encourages collaborative exploration of puppetry forms through play, breathing life into inanimate objects.

Students will maintain a visual journal to collect and generate ideas for their creative projects. Through these courses, students get an opportunity to engage with creative and embodied practices, craft their relationship to the capacities of the body, develop discipline and motivation, and cultivate self-awareness and wellbeing.
