Early and mid-career development professionals are often part of teams that manage specific project activities within larger programmes, and in many cases, also multiple projects across thematic verticals at the same time. This is a skill-oriented core course that will enable a shared understanding of specific topics in project management among the participants. The course covers several aspects of the project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, evaluation and learning and managing project teams, through a hands-on project-based pedagogy. It will include several commonly used frameworks and tools such as theory of change, log-frame analysis, stakeholder analysis, Gantt chart and team dysfunctions.
