This course helps you understand key concepts in biology and helps you appreciate the role of biology in everyday life. It includes lectures and laboratory work in which you will learn how to observe, explore, imagine and ask questions necessary to biology. 

This course gives you a synthetic overview of biological phenomenon — genetics, development, morphology, behaviour, environment and natural selection — and helps you understand how they feed into one another and influence living organisms.
