Prepares students to facilitate embodied learning in various settings
This course prepares students to facilitate embodied learning in educational and community settings, integrating theory from exercise science, performing arts, and psychology. It covers ethical considerations, practical applications, and group dynamics. Students will maintain an Embodied Learning Journal, design and lead learning games, and facilitate peer sessions. Cross-listed with Sports and Fitness, this course encourages interdisciplinary perspectives, equipping students with skills to guide group experiences.
