The organisational capacity greatly increases if and when project and programme data is systematically organised, analysed and used for various purposes. Much of these data are quantitative as the deliverables in the log frames or results frameworks used in project designs are to be captured quantitatively. Therefore, this course is offered to build the competency of quantitative analysis.

This course will build on the learnings from the ​“Understanding Data for Decision Making” course. The focus of this course will be on quantitative data analysis and visualisation. The participants will be introduced to handling quantitative data, the basics of statistics, and various techniques for analysing data. They will also learn tools and techniques to present the results of data analysis in a visual manner that is easy to interpret. It will be an applied course where participants will learn by doing. Finally, participants will learn how data analysis can aid in decision-making in social sector organisations.
