Our work with other states:
We have extended our work in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Punjab over the last few years. We engage with diverse subject areas and stakeholders, customising our approach to align with the state’s needs.
- We offered English Language Enrichment Course (ELEC) to primary and secondary government school teachers in collaboration with State Institute for Languages and Teacher Training (SILTT).
- We collaborated with the Capacity Building Commission and the Government of Odisha to design a short-term school leadership programme for senior functionaries, principals, and head teachers from the elementary education ecosystem.
- We designed a short-term capacity-building programme for higher secondary English teachers in Odisha to support competency-based, learner-centred pedagogy and address the challenges students face due to the transition from Odia to English medium instruction.
- In collaboration with SCERT Punjab and the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), we supported the development of English textbooks for Grades I to III and middle-stage textbooks, in alignment with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE.
- We supported workshops focused on competency-based assessment principles and contributed to the development of item banks to strengthen classroom-based assessment practices.
- We collaborated on the development of the following subject textbooks to support competency-based teaching-learning processes:
- Grades I, II, IV, V — Mathematics, Hindi, and English, Environmental Studies (EVS)
- Grades III to V- English, Mathematics, Hindi
- We helped design assessment tools for Teacher Need Analysis (TNA) to identify the professional development requirements of teachers across different stages of schooling.
Our work with Institutions:
Since 2020, we have been working with Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS) to support capacity building of school principals and teachers across its residential schools.
These programmes have focused on strengthening academic leadership, school culture and processes, teacher professional development, and competency-based teaching-learning approaches in mathematics, science, and social science.
Since 2020, we have been collaborating with CBSE on reforms in Board examinations and the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in alignment with the vision of competency-based education outlined in NEP 2020.
This work has included development of learning and assessment frameworks, rigorous review and analysis of Board examination and CTET question papers, handbooks for test development, item banks, and research studies on assessment practices.
We have also designed and facilitated long-term and short-term capacity-building programmes, including the Certificate Programme in Test Development and workshops for question paper setters, aimed at strengthening assessment design, competency-based pedagogy, and test development processes across school education.
We collaboratively developed the learning frameworks for science, mathematics, social science, English, and Hindi for Grades IX and X.
We collaborated to design and facilitate capacity-building programmes for middle school teachers across mathematics, English, science, and social science. These programmes focused on competency-based education, pedagogy, assessment, and lesson planning aligned with NCF-SE 2023, with the aim of strengthening teachers’ understanding of learning standards and classroom practices across curricular areas.
Since 2024, we have been collaborating to support professional development programmes for middle, secondary, and senior secondary teachers in the areas of competency-based pedagogy and assessment. The engagements have included offering the Certificate in Test Development for secondary-stage teachers across languages, science, social Science, and mathematics, along with subject-specific pedagogy workshops and short-term capacity-building programmes aligned with NEP 2020.
Since 2023, we have been collaborating on a range of professional development programmes for teachers across foundational, middle, and secondary stages. These have included workshops on foundational literacy for master resource persons, development of cascading training modules, subject-specific workshops on competency-based pedagogy, assessment for middle school teachers, and offering the Certificate Programme in Test Development to secondary teachers. We have also supported in development of handbook for reading and writing across all subjects.
We have supported various NGOs and CSOs such as Ananya Foundation, Larsen and Toubro Public Charitable Trust, Sunbird Trust, and Vamasarthi Foundation.
We have facilitated workshops for capacity development of teachers across all stages of schooling, focused on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), as well as subject-specific pedagogy and assessment strategies.
In addition, we have supported head teachers, school leaders, and administrators in developing perspectives in the areas of leadership and personal effectiveness.
