Biography
Roshni Lobo is a member of the School of Development at Azim Premji University. Before taking on this role, she worked as a research associate on various projects, including domestic workers collectivisation, garment workers health, street food vendors, and the access to health services for socially excluded communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Roshni has also worked with non-governmental organisations focussed on supporting destitute women and children, urban informal workers, and senior citizens. She brings a total of 17 years of experience in the development sector.
She holds a master’s degree in social work (medical and psychiatric SW) from St. Aloysius Institute of Social Work in Mangalore, Karnataka, as well as a bachelor’s degree in social work from the prestigious School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, also in Mangalore.
