Niruj Deka is a Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Employment, Azim Premji University. 

He completed his graduation in economics from Cotton University, Guwahati and later received his Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from Centre for Development Studies(JNU), Kerala. Prior to CSE, he has worked as a research assistant on various projects related to mental health of women, social networks and forests. His research interests include issues related to labour market and development”.
