Deepak joined the University as a part of the Infrastructure team at Bhopal and primarily looks after Security and Safety. He hails from Himachal Pradesh and worked in the Indian Navy for fifteen years in the field of Security, Vigilance and Loss Prevention. 

After voluntary retirement from the Indian Navy, he worked in three manufacturing units, the latest one being Sterlite Technologies Limited as Security Lead. His expertise lies in recommending protective measures, and assisting in security clearances for new employees or visitors. 

He posseses the knowledge of operating and handling CCTV, access control system including biometrics, burglar alarm devices, and taking adequate measures to ensure optimum utilisation of available funds towards the accomplishment of group objectives.

Deepak completed his Master of Arts degree from Andhra University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Himachal Pradesh University.

His hobbies include singing and swimming and he enjoys playing volleyball.
