Nature Writing for Children (NWfC)
The world around us is changing — in many profound ways. With vanishing woodlands and ever-spreading cities, our connections with nature and the environment are also undergoing a shift.
To help reconnect with nature and all it encompasses, the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability at Azim Premji University launched the Nature Writing for Children (NWfC) initiative in 2020.
Hundreds of individuals have learnt about the nuances of children’s books and nature writing through monthly webinar series and regular certificate courses. We also bring out a digital magazine, which features columns and reviews of books on nature for children.
