We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Research Associate in Climate Science to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our research projects focusing on climate change, its impacts, and mitigation strategies within the School of Climate Change and Sustainability at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to high-impact research that informs policy and advances scientific understanding.

The duration of the project is for one year.

As a researcher you will be responsible for,

• Conduct and support research on climate change, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Utilize climate models, particularly the CMIP6 dataset, to generate climate projections and conduct scenario analysis.
• Develop and maintain databases of climate-related data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate climate science into broader research initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and policy briefs for a variety of audiences, including policymakers, scientists, and the general public.
• Present research findings at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Stay updated with the latest scientific literature and advancements in climate science.
