We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lab Manager to set up and manage labs for our BSc Environmental Science and Sustainability programme.

Responsibilities:

As a Lab Manager, you will be: 

• Setting up and managing air, water, and soil labs 
• Ensuring that all laboratory equipment and instruments are properly maintained and calibrated
• Planning, organising, and supervising day-to-day laboratory operations and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and providing training and guidance to students and members
• Working with students to plan and execute experiments, providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, and managing lab inventory
• Working with faculty members to develop and implement laboratory curriculum, and evaluating student performance
• Actively engaging students in hands-on learning experiences, and encouraging curiosity and critical thinking
• Collaborating with others professionals/​organisations, internally and externally to enhance the programmes’s educational and research goals
