A conversation about learning beyond the classroom, student communities, campus activities, residential life, and the experience of being a student at Azim Premji University
Details
About the session
Choosing a university is not only about choosing a programme. It is also about choosing a place where you will spend your time, meet people, take on responsibilities, and build experiences alongside your academic work.
What does a typical day look like? What happens after classes? How do students participate in clubs, sports, cultural activities, and other campus initiatives? What is residential life like? How much freedom do students have to start something of their own? And how do these experiences become part of university life?
This session will give you a closer look at student life at Azim Premji University. The Student Affairs team will talk about the different ways students participate in and contribute to campus life, from clubs and student-led initiatives to sports, cultural activities, events, and residential life.
The session will also look at the relationship between academic and non-academic life. University is a space where students learn with and from one another, work together, take initiative, navigate differences, and become part of a community. These experiences are an important part of what it means to be a university student.
Whether you are considering an undergraduate or postgraduate programme, the session will help you understand what life at Azim Premji University looks like beyond the programme you choose to study.
