About the event

Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, invites you to the eighth edition of Sahitya Sahavasa, celebrating the literary contributions of celebrated writers Sri Gorur Ramaswamy Iyengar, Dr S. L. Bhyrappa, and Smt. Banu Mushtaq.

 The event will feature a keynote address by noted writer and critic Sri K. Satyanarayana, a conversation with Smt. Banu Mushtaq, talks on Gorur’s literary legacy, a folk song tribute to Dr S. K. Karim Khan, a staging of Vamshavruksha by the Kalasuruchi troupe, an exhibition of portraits of writers, and prize distribution for students participating in literary competitions.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Sri Goruru Ramaswamy Iyengar Sahitya Pratishthana Trust, and Government Arts, Commerce and Postgraduate College (Autonomous), Hassan.

This event is open and free to all.
