How is Data Enabling Decision Making in the Development Sector: Stories from the Ground
About the webinar
This webinar is hosted by the Certificate Programme in Quantitative Analysis and Data Visualisation at Azim Premji University. The certificate programme aims to enhance the capacity of development sector professionals to analyse and interpret data, and communicate findings effectively.
In this webinar, we bring together three development practitioners working across diverse thematic areas — from rural livelihoods and climate resilience in Jharkhand, to public health in Delhi, to strategic philanthropy across India and South Asia. Drawing from their personal journeys and professional experiences, the speakers will reflect on how they engage with data in their day-to-day work, the challenges they have navigated, and how a formal grounding in quantitative data analysis has shaped the way they think and act.
The conversation will be moderated by Manjula M, faculty with the Azim Premji University.
Who should attend?
This webinar will be relevant for development sector professionals working across thematic areas including health, education, livelihoods, environment, gender, governance, and philanthropy — whether you are new to data or looking to deepen your existing practice.
