At Right Angles: Learning is Child’s Play (Part II)
Swati Sircar, faculty member, Azim Premji University, will discuss about a popular teaching learning material (TLM) — the geoboard — and how its use can be enhanced with dot sheets.

Since 2020, At Right Angles (AtRiA) has included a review section on Math Manipulatives. The reviews so far, have covered the ganitmala, counters, arrow cards, spinners and geoboard and have made a persuasive case for the development of the math process skills of observation, representation, logical reasoning, mathematical communication and more in classrooms in which these are used mindfully.
The webinar in September 2022 highlighted these features and also answered a pertinent question — how do teachers incorporate their use in classrooms?
In this webinar, we will be discussing a popular manipulative — the geoboard — and how its use can be enhanced with dot sheets.
Swati Sircar, faculty member, Azim Premji University, continues her series on Math Manipulatives based on the Manipulatives Review in At Right Angles.
The discussion will be in English.
