Amit Kumar teaches history at the School of Arts and Sciences, Azim Premji University. Amit did his PhD from University of Delhi and was also a visiting PhD Global History fellow at the International Institute of Social History, Amsterdam.
Before joining Azim Premji University, Amit taught at Hansraj College, University of Delhi and Srinagar Women’s College, Srinagar. The monograph is an extended form of his PhD.
