Introduction to Ecology
How are the interactions between organisms influenced by physical, chemical and biological features?
In this course, we study patterns and processes of species distribution. This involves looking at various levels of interactions: organisms, populations and communities. We help you learn how to use various tools, from complex mathematical and statistical modelling to field observation. We introduce you to theories in ecology that will help you encounter biological problems and explain the ecological processes at work in them. You will test theories using models and apply them to real life challenges, and even learn how to create teaching materials and lesson plans in ecology.
