Rajagopal leads the Admissions Outreach for the Degree and Diploma programmes at Azim Premji University.
Rajagopal has more than 25 years of work experience. He started his career as a Planning Engineer with SPIC, Chennai, and worked in various electro-mechanical projects in India for 4 years. He then joined the Information Technology sector and worked for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Accenture for 12 years.
Prior to joining Azim Premji University in 2013, he was working as an Associate Manager at Accenture, Edinburgh, Scotland. In his last job, he was involved in managing Business Applications and offshore Project Management for Insurance and Financial Services organisations.
At the University, he has also managed the Academic Administration/Programme Office.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialisation in Electrical and Electronics from Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, Karnataka (now NITK, Surathkal).
He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Rights Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.
