Biography
Naveen has 24 years of experience in the development sector. Over these years, he has worked closely with government, non-government organisations, multilateral and bilateral agencies on governance, decentralised planning, knowledge management, and strengthening public health infrastructure including outreach of basic health services in remote and deprived locations of the country.
He has worked in the grantmaking efforts of Azim Premji Foundation, especially in building the Foundation’s work on local democracy and building an extensive partner ecosystem around it.
He has also anchored our efforts in initiating local democracy work through civil society organisations in some of the field locations and Panchayats around the Bengaluru campus. He has also contributed to the Centre for Local Democracy’s capacity-building efforts.
In his leisure time, he likes watching web series and movies and enjoys listening to music.
