Competency Based Assessment : Understanding Systemic Reforms

A platform to hear from experts on bridging the gap between current learning outcomes and the purpose of assessment

PGDE Information Session

Four years into the new National Education Policy (NEP) of India 2020, what do we understand by competency-based learning and assessments?  What are the various systemic level assessment reforms in place to make them competency-based? What could be the possible implications of such assessment reforms on pedagogy, content, teacher training and others?

Join us as we explore these pertinent questions with an expert panel representative of prominent national educational boards along with institutions of higher education. The discussion will not only focus on unpacking policy recommendations on competency-based assessment, but it will also provide a peek into various ongoing national and state level efforts in meaningfully transitioning towards competency based education.
