AtRiA: On the Mathematics Learning Framework, published recently by CBSE

CBSE recently published the Learning Framework, in collaboration with Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, as per the mandate for competency-based education (CBE) in NEP 2020.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 released by the Government of India, has given a clear mandate for competency-based education (CBE) to enhance acquisition of critical 21st century skills by the learners. 

In this connection, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has collaborated with Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, to develop the Learning Framework for Science, Mathematics, Social Science, English and Hindi for classes 9 and 10. The Learning Frameworks comprise explicitly stated knowledge, skills and dispositions that an education system should try to achieve.
