How do we get into universal and common health systems for all people? 

Using examples of diseases like falciparum malaria, tuberculosis, undernutrition, laboratory services, public transport and maternal health services, the talk by Yogesh Jain, Co-founder, Jan Swasthya Sahyog, explores ways to get equity at the centre stage. 

Further, the talk will delve into the ways of working with communities, training and supporting mid-level and community health workers, disease-based peer support groups and developing community mental health programmes as a strategy to break the hegemony of hospitals and physicians.
