This course uses the mathematics developed in the Probability course to do more with data sets than just describe them by their mean, median and standard deviation. Here we think about how to draw inferences from just a few observations. We also think about how good would our inferences be! We experience both the Bayesian and the Frequentist ways of examining a data set to update our knowledge about phenomena which appear to be random.
