Ethics

Challenge your own views and broaden your perspective by critically examining your ethical stances on diverse issues.

The course enables students to develop and challenge their own views about ethical positions on various issues, as well as to think about what it is to live an ethical and virtuous life, and how to resolve ethical differences. Through exploring questions such as the meaning behind moral judgments — what defines something as morally good or bad, or an action as right or wrong — students will be prompted to articulate and justify their perspectives on various ethical dilemmas. These topics range from everyday concerns like friendship and forgiveness to broader issues like climate change, individual responsibility, AI ethics, and organizational obligations.
