Rakhi holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. She completed her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat. 

Her master’s dissertation focused on ​‘Management of faculty research publications with a special reference to NAAC: A model for Sardar Patel University.’ She was also responsible for establishing SPU IRINS, utilising the available data for this initiative.

She secured the top position in HSC at Kendriya Vidyalaya, earned gold medals for her academic pursuits during her bachelor’s, and master’s. She has been recognised as the champion of a National Level Competition within the Oasis Movement’s Misaal Project focused on Indian Young Leadership Development Programme.

Furthermore, she holds a certificate of excellence as a Brand Ambassador for Food​walas​.com, an online curated marketplace. She held a role as a social media influencer at the Muskurahat Foundation, a youth-focused non-governmental organisation (NGO) in India dedicated to promoting children’s education and safeguarding their rights. Additionally, she served as a student ambassador for the NetraWild Network during their Beat Plastic Pollution campaign.

Before joining Azim Premji Foundation, she gained professional experience in various domains. Initially, she worked with Intelenet Global Services, a software company. Subsequently, she transitioned to Searchline Database Pvt Ltd, a prominent data entry services provider. 

Additionally, she has amassed over two years of experience in event management, having collaborated with renowned brands such as The Times of India and Asian Paints, among others. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish a website, and she possesses over a year’s worth of experience as a content writer.

She has a passion for writing poems, and one of her poems was featured and published in the newsletter Dialogues: A Quarterly Newsletter, by Azim Premji University.
