Biography

Parthasarathi is a visiting faculty at the university and teaches in our MA Education and Continuing Education programmes associated with the School of Continuing Education and University Resource centre(SCE-URC).

He is involved in designing and planning ELT programmes, professional development of field institutes, academic writing in English, and in guiding students of the University in the Writing Center for academic support.

Partha teaches courses at the postgraduate level and is involved in designing courses for the professional development of teacher educators. He has worked as Director, English Language Teaching Institute, Assam. He also worked as Associate Professor of English, Cotton College, Gauhati University. He was also a Ph.D Guide of the Gauhati University and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

  • Pedagogy of Early Reading and Writing

    The course takes participants through experiences of classroom processes leading to an understanding of the principles and practice of a comprehensive literacy pedagogy.

  • Language Across Curriculum

    A 5-day course in developing a critical understanding of the nature and role of language in children, curricula and subject knowledge.
