Mohit Sharma

Biography

Mohit completed his Master’s in Ancient Indian History from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal (2005) and has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Zoology (2000). 

From 2011 to 2015, he served as a Senior Programme Associate at Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, contributing to initiatives such as INTERACT – The Young Scholars Leadership Initiative, aiming to ensure the continuity of education for children affected by conflict. Simultaneously, Mohit was a part of Transformative Learning Programme in primary school education, by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

His commitment to quality education extended to India Education Collective, where he served as a Senior Programme Associate from 2016 to 2018, engaging with quality learning in government primary schools.

Mohit has also contributed as a Senior Sub Editor at Dainik Bhaskar from 2008 to 2010.

Mohit’s journey at Azim Premji Foundation began as a Resource Person (Social Science) from 2018 to 2020, followed by roles as Block Coordinator and District Coordinator in Dhar District from 2020 to 2023. During these years, he contributed to programme management, leadership and stakeholder engagement.
