Biography

Ekhanee Boruah works with the Registrar’s Office at the University. 

She has a master’s degree in Political Science from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University (DU). She completed her bachelor’s degree with honours in Political Science from Miranda House, DU.

Prior to joining the University, she was working as an editor with the S Chand Group, Delhi. She has 4 years of experience in editing, academic writing, creative content writing for trade, and other journals with both national and international publications. She has worked extensively on children’s literature during her association with Offshoot Books, an imprint of Ratna Sagar Publications. 

She has also worked as a subject matter expert of Political Science with MRCC Group, Mumbai and as a curriculum developer on a project on learning outcomes due to application of innovative learning techniques’ across Delhi government schools, with the Delhi government, which was facilitated by Sri Aurobindo Society, Delhi. 

Further, she has briefly taught Political Science at a high school, apart from working with non-profits for implementing, monitoring, and managing multiple projects, including handling social media presence for the organisations she was associated with. She recently wrapped up the subtitle work for a documentary on the Forest Man of India: Jadav Payeng’ with French Television Network.

She is a supreme plant enthusiast who also loves reading, writing, and doing freelance book reviews.
