Biography

Bandana is a part of the Programme Office at Azim Premji University. Prior to joining the University, she was associated with FIITJEE Limited, Chennai where she worked as a Project Lead. She led the e‑cult metamorphosis project and engaged with students and parents to help students in their studies and succeed in IIT-JEE.

She has eight years of work experience in the Education industry. Owing to her passion and interest in Education, she started her career as a faculty in a teacher training institute in Himachal Pradesh. To understand the different parameters of education and how the system works, she gained experience in administration, assessment technique designing, career counselling, and relationship management.

She has also designed different assessment techniques for various age groups and working professionals during her stint with Rupajan Management Consulting Private Limited, Chennai. She was involved in assessing relevant training needs and training effectiveness (including assessment methods and measurement systems) for working professionals, institutions, and organisations. 

She has a Master’s degree in Education (MA Education) from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, and a Master’s degree in English (MA English) from Himachal Pradesh University. She has also completed Postgraduate Certification in Business Management from Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur. She has also qualified University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam for Education, twice. 

Bandana enjoys dancing, practicing yoga and Mandala art, and travelling.
