Annapoorani is a visiting faculty member at the School of Education, Azim Premji University.

Annapoorani (Annam, as she is fondly known) is a special educator with over twenty-five years of experience. She has earlier worked with Brindavan Education Trust, Bengaluru and many other institutions as a faculty member, counsellor, consultant and mentor. 

She has set up resource rooms in various schools and is well-versed in providing life skills training to adolescents with learning difficulties. She is a qualified child mental health professional with specialisations in the areas of counselling and specific learning disabilities.

She has a keen interest in working with children having learning difficulties by bridging the gap between their potential and performance using innovative methods. She also offers counselling, career counselling and training for the trainers.
