Biography

Anisha has Master’s degree in English Literature from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Xavier’s College, Simdega, Jharkhand. Before joining the University, she taught English Literature to undergraduate students of her alma mater —St. Xavier’s College, Jharkhand.

She has also worked with Pixelblaze Production as an Assistant Photographer and Customer Relationship Executive in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Anisha was part of a project titled Land, Labour, and Violence — The Gender Perspective as a field investigator, sponsored by the Indian Association for Women’s Studies and supported by the Women’s Studies Centre, Ranchi University from September 2021 to May 2022.

Currently, she is associated with the Bridge Programme conducted by the University at Gumla, Jharkhand, where she teaches English and helps prepare students for Azim Premji University’s Undergraduate and Postgraduate entrance exams.

In her spare time, she likes to go on solo rides, exploring new places and photography.
