Creatively engage with each other on the issue of demystifying mental health and wellbeing, facilitated by the team from Snehadhara Foundation, a Bengaluru-based NGO.

Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day is observed globally each year on 10 October to raise awareness and reduce the stigma that surrounds people with mental conditions.

To mark the day, the Public Health unit of the University and students of the course on Critical perspectives on mental health’, celebrate World Mental Health day.

In line with this year’s World Mental Day theme Make mental health and wellbeing a global priority for all, the event welcomes everyone to creatively engage with each other on the issue of demystifying mental health and wellbeing that reminds each one of us that we are not alone in our journey of turning mental I‑llness to We-llness.

The event will be facilitated by the team from Snehadhara Foundation, a Bengaluru-based NGO with pioneering work in Arts practices for inclusion.
