What are all the things that we want to be and do? And why is this related to development? In this course as we explore the idea of development through case studies and historical examples focussing on poverty, social security, environment and migration. The questions we want to explore with you include- How much does it cost to live in a city today and who can afford it? What is unemployment and why does it affect all of us? How does the environment link Malthus (the economist) and Thanos (the supervillain)? And why do people migrate away from their home? We also ask you to create and run a social media handle to explain this.
