In this course, we explore the integral ways in which development and education are allied goals that need to coexist for the achievement of societal goals. 

In the domain of Education for Development, we explore empirical evidence of how education contributes to equality, sustainable development and the deepening of democracy and governance. 

In the domain of Development for Education, we explore the socioeconomic determinants of educational outcomes like enrolment, retention, attendance and learning achievements. 

Through an exploration of literature, we work on understanding strategies and various possibilities of actions in the two domains.
